my final expo has ended!! four years of promoting in expo. i think i can consider myself an old bird. anyone who wants to hire me next year better pay me $20 per hour. this year expo wasn't really good. boring promoters (well. no team of promoters outside can be better than my previous teams~~) lousy sales (the boss complains that the marshmallow promoters did not even sell enough to cover their salary) WEIRD people (one of the promoter cried and complained to the mother when kelvis made a funny face + peace sign to her =.=) so, this year's expo is not really worth remembering. im just going to remember the happy times we had in the last three years!

this was the year of breaking sales records~ but in food expo, fun is more important than sales!

this was the peak. we cleared all stock by 7pm and finished packing when everyone else in expo were still slogging hard to push their product.
a huge yumseng in expo, wine/beer sponsored by the bosses. i was totally right to say that expo is all about alcohol and fun! i bet all other exhibitors were green with envy when they saw us closing the shop early and holding the celebration!
dear abigail, this ribena guy (rightmost in the picture) is 95720348957203485x better looking than the ah beng you were ogling at for the past 5 days. time to up your standards for guys! stop drooling over ah bengs!
unfortunately, i am going to start my full time job in a month's time and i don't think i am going to take up anymore part-time job for a very very long time. i had lots of fun in most of the jobs and they (+ tuitions) had supported me through my poly and uni days. i really want to blog about them so that i can read this post in future and remember the happy days i had. so, bear with me for this lengthy post!

NICEST LOOKING UNIFORM - AVIVA OPEN 2008
see! we were in tennis skirts and whatever cap that is. the sportiest looking uniform ever (much nicer than the polo tee and jeans uniform everywhere else). plus we had to carry some candy box around our neck which make us look as if we are selling drugs. soooooo fun!
NICEST BOSS - FLOWERSHOP
nope, the flowershop is not in changi airport. we were sending off the flowershop prince to USA on that day. the flowershop really proves that company is really much more important than the job and pay. packing jasmine flower into plastic bags for 12 hours a day and sleeping only two hours every night is really not fun without friends. but year after year, i go back to pack jasmine flower (the boss calls me jasmine now). all because of the good company i have there and the superly duperly good boss who treats us to superly duperly posh restaurants once in a while!
MOST FUN - SYF 2007
oh no, no pictures for that because i was too poor for a camera then. well, but SYF 2007 was the most fun working with 60 other part timers and playing with the walkie talkies. it was soooo fun making at all the weird secondary and JC students walk around in circles and laughing at them! and allow me to repeat, it was sooooo fun playing with the walkie talkie.
MOST FREEDOM - PSPS DISPATCH
see! i get to drive the buggy to somewhere with 5 mins walking distance. how cool is that. plus, this job was an extension of internship. i knew everyone sooooo well that i can move around as and when i like!. *girns*
MOST SLACK - NATAS TRAVEL FAIR
no bosses! we can just close shop as and when we like to walk around in the travel fair. HOW GREAT IS THAT! plus, we don't have to sell, just give out drinks. WOW. we should have more of this kind of jobs!
alrights, lets hope that my full time job is as fun as these part time jobs! i am soooooo excited to start working already! *one more month one more month!*
